Test Format

IELTS is a test of all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. There will be no gaps between the Listening, Reading, and Writing tests; they will all be taken on the same day, one after the other. Depending on your test center, your Speaking test could take place on the same day or up to seven days before or after the other three tests. The exam is completed in less than three hours.

For applications to Canada, a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 is required with at least a 6.0 in all modules. Don’t worry, we’ll help you achieve that by providing the right resources.

What is IELTS?

With more than three million tests completed in the previous year, the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the most well-liked high-stakes English language competency test in the world for study, work, and migration. It is necessary for an application to study abroad in any Canadian institution.
